Master of Orion 2 Puzzle

Master of Orion 2 is truly one of the greatest games for all times. I vote it to be included in future history books. Also this game, along with some others, inspired me to undertake my idea to create fun education games. Many years after I have played it for the first time, i realized that I know a lot of names of the explored stars by our astronomers from this game. So practically this game is also educational. On the screenshot, there we are 20 Doom Stars against 60 Psilon Doom Stars, 60 Titans and 40 battleships. Psilon also have the best possible equipment for its ships, because they are Creative race. And here is the first attacker ship making damage with the super cool Heavy Plasma Cannon. For those who know hex code to modify the game, the credits(money) hex address in Orion 2 is 0001AA3C.

Hammer of the Gods Puzzle

Hammer of the Gods is a turn based strategy fantasy computer game. It can be played with DOSBox anywhere. It is very fishy old DOS game that is interesting and replayable. The graphic is my favorite 2D with big icons and readable fonts. The game take place in the mythical Nordic lands, where we choose to play one of four races - Vikings, Elves, Trolls and Dwarves. When we choose the race and set the map parameters, we appear on the land with our capitol city. For the elves it is Alfhiem. The land is covered with the fog of war, which show an inaccurate map of the world, made by some lazy cartographers. Our first task is to check the quest tree and choose a quest to make. Then we begin to explore and colonize the weakest cities we can find.

Heroes 4 Puzzle

Heroes of Might and Magic IV is a turn-based strategy game developed by Gus Smedstad through New World Computing and published by the 3DO Company for Microsoft Windows-based personal computers in 2002. Exploring Heroes 4 game to its limits, there is a summoning tree that give unique units, but require a combination of two magic trees. To cast the Summon Ice Demon spell, the hero need Expert Nature Magic and Expert Demonology. So the hero must have nature and death magic at the same time. Ice demons are medium speed army, quite versatile and have a chance to freeze the enemy, which makes them useful even in small numbers. At first levels of Demonologist and Nature magic we can Summon Skeletons. Second level allow summoning Imps, they are week but flying and steal mana. Next level bring the Cerberus, fast and hit up to 3 targets. And finally the Ice Demon.

Another truly great game. Master of Magic is the first turn based 4x4 fantasy game released in 1994. We have witness a lot of remakes and titles similar to MoM, and the fans are always unhappy. But this is not because the new games are bad, it is because this game have real magic in it! Which hero to take remain one of the greatest difficulties in master of magic game. Warlords Battlecry 3 Puzzle

Warlords Battlecry 3 is one amazing piece of art in the real time strategy games type and fantasy genre. I will explore the campaign of Warlords Battlecry 3 with one main hero, that will lead the army, build structures, convert mines, equip items, enter shops, enter quest locations, fight, cast spells, collect retinue and more. Having this in mind, I must design my hero accordingly. There are 4 main traits: Portrait, Name, Race and Class. 1. Portrait is the beautiful face, it have no game effect. Because in games I usually accompany my hero, rather than being the hero, I like creating female ones. 2. Name have no game effect too. Her name will be Miranda (it is the name of the 14th moon of Uranus, named after Shakespeare's characters ). 3. Race have major game effect. It defines which set of armies and buildings we may use, when in RTS screen.

Elven Legacy Puzzle

Elven Legacy is another exciting hex turn based strategy game. It is the next part of Fantasy Wars game. If it wasn't the clumsy and heavy 3D graphic the game could be one extraordinary peace of art. Also some units, especially cavalries, have very strong attacks, making playing without losses very difficult and mind taking. One of the greatest and playable fantasy hex turn base remain the Fantasy General game. Deer Riders are one of the cavalry units in the game. They make the best damage when charging, meaning to make the most hex moves before reaching the target.

Wesnoth Puzzle

The Battle for Wesnoth is one of those amazing hex turn based tactical games, and they really are not many. Back in the days when I found it, I thought there are no more hex games I haven't play. And then tadaa - Wesnoth. And this game is free, I really admire its developers. The screenshot is from after the 10th mission in the largest campaign. Back in the days, the game was crushing there, but now it is probably fixed. What I remember most, is that I needed to have at least one Elvish Champion, not only rangers, cavalries and healers, my favorites.
