Hammer of the Gods is a turn based strategy fantasy computer game. It can be played with DOSBox anywhere. It is very fishy old DOS game that is interesting and replayable. The graphic is my favorite 2D with big icons and readable fonts. The game take place in the mythical Nordic lands, where we choose to play one of four races - Vikings, Elves, Trolls and Dwarves. When we choose the race and set the map parameters, we appear on the land with our capitol city. For the elves it is Alfhiem. The land is covered with the fog of war, which show an inaccurate map of the world, made by some lazy cartographers. Our first task is to check the quest tree and choose a quest to make. Then we begin to explore and colonize the weakest cities we can find.
